Kmart is looking for a proactive Payroll Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping and supporting our payroll systems. In this dynamic role, you'll ensure compliance with legislative changes, streamline business-as-usual operations, and provide first-level support across Payroll and Time & Attendance systems. You’ll work closely with the payroll team, test and optimize system functionality, and deliver valuable data insights to stakeholders across the People & Culture function.

**What you’ll be doing**

As a **Payroll Systems Analyst** at Kmart, you'll be:

- Documenting system changes across EC, ECP, Payglobal and UKG including solution designs and testing records for audit purposes.
- Supporting requirement gathering, testing (UAT and PVT), and post-implementation assurance for payroll system updates.
- Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to validate solution designs and ensure smooth rollouts.
- Ensuring compliance with governance standards and change management audit processes.
- Providing operational support during pay runs and remediation efforts across Australia and New Zealand.
- Coordinating and leading incident and change request reviews, including weekly management meetings with AMS.
- Driving system enhancements and process improvements, including automation of Spinifex reports within ECP.
- Acting as a key liaison between SF, Payroll, and business units to communicate changes and ensure alignment.

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and Australian and New Zealand legislative requirements
- Experience managing and dealing with Payroll issues through to resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll project delivery and change management frameworks.
- Experience or training in SpinifexIT - highly regarded
- SAP Certified Application Associate - highly regarded
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Thrives in high-volume, fast-paced settings with excellent organisation and time management.
