We represent one of Australia's most well-established non-bank lenders who support Australian Businesses with their growth journey and beyond. They offer a suite of innovative and competitive products in the market which is loved by businesses ranging in size from SME and mid-markets to institutional.

Due to growth, an opportunity now exists for an experienced banking operations expert to join this team and help deliver the operational activity that supports two portfolios. Working across SME and Project & Structured Finance, this role is the first point of call to resolve a range of lending matters, such as assessing financial data, security positions, and risk exposure to support informed credit decisions.

Some of your tasks will include:

  • Processing drawdowns
  • Working closely with Finance to reconcile payments from customers and agencies for syndicate facilities
  • Providing accurate and timely updates to account managers
  • Working closely with Treasury
  • Interact with customers for specific requests such as documentation, additional information required from customers.
  • Preparing and submitting credit memos
  • Undertaking basic credit assessment activity to support the credit analysts
  • Managing reminders for annual reviews
  • Following operational processes, assessing the efficiency of processes, and identify improvement

The successful candidate will have experience in acorporate or institutional banking operations role in Australia and have a  strong understanding of loan administration, drawdowns, syndicated loans, collateral agreements, processing loan lodgements.  An understanding of the credit process will also be highly advantageous but not essential.
