Early Childhood Teacher – Full Time - Citipointe Kindergarten

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join Citipointe Kindergarten. This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire and nurture young children through biblically based, developmentally appropriate programs in a caring, positive environment.

About the Role

As part of our teaching team, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging early learning programs that meet the individual needs of children
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that supports spiritual, emotional, social, and cognitive growth
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and families, fostering communication and trust
  • Support leadership in maintaining compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement
  • Reflect Christ's love in daily interactions, recognising your role as both educator and ministry

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework or Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
  • Maintain accurate observations, documentation, and assessments of children's learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement routines, maintain classroom organisation, and support each other
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and reflective practice
  • Adhere to child protection, health, and safety requirements, reporting concerns promptly

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (from a recognised university)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, NQF, and NQS
