As our highly valued Director/Teacher at C&K Rochedale South Community Kindergarten, you'll lead a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. We're looking for an inspiring Teacher Director who brings creativity and leadership to both indoor and outdoor learning environments. The ideal candidate will be flexible, open-minded, and passionate about creating engaging programs that nurture children's curiosity and growth.

Position Details:

Work Days: 37.5 hours per fortnight, Thursday, Friday and alt Wednesday

Location: C&K Rochedale South is located on Wendron Street, Rochedale South, on the grounds of Rochedale South State School.

Position Type: Fixed Term Part-Time, 12 months until the end of Term 4: 11/12/2026

What you'll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Approved Child Protection Training or the willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • Current Police Check
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
