As a Program and Practice Leader, you'll work closely with Centre Directors, Educational Leaders, and Early Childhood Teachers to elevate the quality of our educational programs. You'll guide pedagogy, mentor educators, and embed inclusive, innovative, and evidence-based practices that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and our organisational philosophy.

Your role will be a balance of hands-on support in centres and strategic collaboration with leaders across the organisation. You will have a direct impact on strengthening pedagogy, promoting inclusive practices, and ensuring services meet and exceed National Quality Standards.

Location: You will be working within our centres in the Gold Coast/Logan area, so availability to travel each day to these centres is required.

What you'll do:

  • Supporting and mentoring Educational Leaders, ECTs, and Educators to build capacity and confidence in curriculum delivery.
  • Providing expert guidance on educational program development, inclusive practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Driving the implementation of projects such as school readiness, inclusion strategies, and community engagement.
  • Collaborating with the Operations and Quality teams to achieve successful Assessment and Rating outcomes.
  • Reviewing centre Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) and facilitating ongoing reflection and improvement.
  • Leading and contributing to networking meetings, staff training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Supporting services with compliance in line with National Regulations, frameworks, and Edge policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Significant experience in a leadership role such as Educational Leader or similar.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (2022), and state-specific frameworks such as the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, mentoring and coaching abilities, and confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Additional Requirement
  • Current Working with Children Check (or state equivalent)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to travel between centres within the Gold Coast & Logan areas
