Are you passionate about creating a supportive and engaging student community?

We're looking for two, enthusiastic Student Engagement Officers to join our Student Experience Team.

This role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in higher education, student services, or events. You'll work closely with the Student Experience and Marketing teams to build connection, engagement, and belonging across campus and online.

About Us

The Australian National Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC) is a private higher education provider offering a range of business, IT and law courses at bachelor's and master's levels. IMC's main campus is in Sydney (near the CBD), with other two campuses in Hobart and Perth.

What You'll Do
  • Provide approachable, professional support to students, assisting with enquiries and fostering a positive campus experience.
  • Coordinate and assist in student activities, workshops, community and campus events that foster connection and wellbeing.
  • Capture and share student stories, photos, and videos with the Marketing team to highlight campus life.
  • Promote positive student engagement through online feedback, reviews, and student ambassador programs.
  • Maintain accurate records, respond efficiently to queries, and deliver service with professionalism and care.
About You
  • You're approachable, creative, enthusiastic, and enjoy helping others.
  • You have strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • You may be studying or have recently completed a qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field or might have relevant experience in student services or community engagement.
  • You're confident using digital tools and social media to connect with students.
  • You're proactive, adaptable, and bring positivity and initiative to your work.
