The successful applicant must be a natural people person; if you're the kind of person who goes out of their way to give a lost stranger directions, we want to hear from you. The successful applicant must have experience in customer service and ideally in a restaurant environment. You must be super passionate about the restaurant industry, all things food & wine and showcase strong leadership qualities, be able to work in an extremely high turnover restaurant, have well above average organisation skills, be confident and above all else must be dedicated to offering exceptional customer service and being a team player.

Nick and Nora's, Melbourne

Nick & Nora's is a vibrant cocktail and champagne bar dedicated to setting new standards for customer experience and luxury. With an award-winning signature cocktail list and impressive team, located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD in the 80 Collins Street precinct, Nick & Nora's is open Tuesday – Sunday and has very quickly turned into the Speakeasy Group flagship high-volume venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing all customers with memorable, personal and unique dining experiences
  • Meet and greet all guests.
  • Utilise Seven Rooms and Tripleseat.
  • Following the Speakeasy Group procedures in detail
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to assist with other tasks related.

What You'll Bring:

  • A natural people person, you will be the first point of contact for all guests.
  • Experience in a busy high-end restaurant (preferred)
  • A passion for hospitality and a desire to further your career in this industry.
  • An engaging personality and warmth that staff and customers gravitate towards
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Well-presented candidates with a professional attitude
  • Experience in Seven Rooms or similar is highly regarded.
  • RSA Certificate
