At Developing Dreams Early Learning Relationships, Wellbeing & Growth are at the heart of everything we do. We are a highly sought after, privately owned company, with the Owner and Approved Provider being a local, early childhood teacher in the area for over 2 decades.

Our Woongarrah Service is a 29-place, CCS approved Early Learning Centre catering for 2-5 year old children, 50 weeks per year. The Service has been rated Exceeding twice in the last 5 years.

The successful applicant will be part of a company that operates two local and privately owned services. Sister-Centre Developing Dreams Early Learning Chain Valley Bay was named NSW Best Small Private Centre in 2019 and 2022.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. This role offers the change to make a genuine impact in a boutique service environment, where strong family connections are valued and celebrated.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have a sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Family Assistance Law, application of policies and an excellent team focus. You will have attention to detail and a care for presentation such as learning spaces, documentation, communication and body language.

You'll thrive in both independent work and team collaborations and be proud to influence the early learning sector through compassion, quality and critical thinking.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring and inspiring a small, passionate team
  • Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, Family Assistance Law, and service policies
  • Overseeing daily operations, including documentation, presentation of learning spaces, budgeting and communication with families
  • Building authentic and reciprocal partnerships with all stakeholders
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance
  • Maintaining and promoting occupancy rates and the company's reliable reputation

TO SUCCEED/DESIRABLE:

  • At least two years' experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor
  • Experience with OWNA
  • Passion for compliance, health & safety
  • Efficient record keeping and time management skills
  • Emotional resilience
  • Awareness of personal strengths and areas to develop
  • Ability to welcome and accept feedback
  • A team-focused approach
