Ashurst Reach Legal Consultant– Disputes/Regulatory Investigations Lawyer

About You:

• You are an experienced disputes/litigation lawyer
• You have the ability to advise business and key stakeholders in relation to investigations, reviews, enquiries and litigation on regulatory matters
• You are experienced in manging complex investigations and inquiries lead by bodies such as ASIC, ACCC and APRA
• You have the ability to proactively review high-risk areas to assess exposure from industry and regulatory developments
• You have the ability to work closely with legal and regulatory teams to advise business stakeholders on regulatory risks and emerging issues
• You have experience managing external legal counsel, ensuring compliance with mandatory training and maintaining strong relationships with regulators, business leaders and legal colleagues to uphold governance and accountability
• You have the ability to identify and monitor legal risks related to disputes and litigation, escalating issues as needed
• You are solutions focussed with excellent professional and commercial judgement, decision making and problem solving skills
• You have the ability to hit the ground running and work closely with a fast paced team
• You have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise
• You have a minimum of 6 years' experience
• You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
• You have a current practising certificate
• You have the right to live and work in Australia
