We're looking for a motivated Security Systems Apprentice to join our team and kickstart their career in the security industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn a trade, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a qualified technician.

The Role

As a Security Technician Trainee, you will:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems (alarms, CCTV, intercoms, and access control).
  • Learn how to diagnose faults and perform system upgrades under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Follow technical diagrams, wiring layouts, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide support on-site with tools, cabling, and system testing.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment while adhering to OH&S procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Interest in electronics, IT, or security systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Driver's license
  • White Card, Working with Heights, or other industry tickets are a bonus (training can be provided).
