Your new role
As a Litigation Lawyer you will handle complex litigation cases in various jurisdictions across Australia, providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting various legal court documents.
- Representing clients in pre-trial reviews, pre-hearing conferences, settlement conferences, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
- Liasing and negotiating with insurers and third-party lawyers.
- Conducting detailed legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and legal precedents relevant to motor vehicle litigation.
What you'll need to succeed
- 1+ years PQE experience in civil litigation
- Unrestricted practising certificate preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume portfolio.
- Strong negotiation skills with a commercial acumen.
- Ability to work with deadlines and targets.
- An understanding of loss of use and credit hire law preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards and professionalism.
