We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor to join DLA Piper's global Litigation and Regulatory – Competition team to be based in Melbourne.

As part of our market leading global team, candidates will enjoy a top tier range of work and will involve working closely with a team of highly regarded Partners, including Simon Uthmeyer, Fleur Gibbons and John Fogarty, who are globally recognised industry leaders with extensive experience in this sector.
We do not set upper or lower limits of post admission experience for any of our vacancies. We have, however, given an indicative as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 2 - 4 years' post admission experience are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.
About you
- Be a qualified Solicitor, ideally qualified in Australia or a Commonwealth jurisdiction
- Have experience in competition, consumer law and regulatory matters
- Draft documents using a commercial, client-focussed style
- Have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working
- Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients
- Awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute
- Proactive and innovative
