Due to business expansion, an opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. Based in Gladstone, the territory covers south to Agnes Water, west to Biloela and north to Marmor. This role involves overnight travel on an occasional basis (at the companies expense).

We are a 100% Queensland family owned and operated business specialising in wholesale and distribution of fast-moving consumable goods - including beverages, commercial cleaning, packaging and hospitality supplies. We are highly focused on culture and very innovative in how we approach the market. Our Distribution Warehouse and Support Office are located in Gladstone.

Our sales team are highly motivated, passionate, and dedicated to our customers and driven to achieve results. This role will be responsible for business development in the Gladstone region and will collaborate with our valued customers to deliver exceptional service and solutions to enhance and add value to their businesses. You will be the sales face of our business in your region.

As a successful Sales Representative, you would:

  • Be an excellent communicator and listener.
  • Have the ability to close a sale and be able to influence and negotiate.
  • Be able to establish relationships with business owners and managers.
  • Be tech savvy with a good knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Have excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Be responsible for both servicing our existing customer base as well as establishing new business relationships.
  • Have a willingness to be 'hands on' with stock movement and in-store merchandising when required.
  • Have creative flair for setting up instore displays/activations and events.
  • Have a valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Be flexible and available for overnight travel requirements

The position is Full-Time and includes a fully serviced company vehicle, mobile phone, and iPad. Overnight travel is required.

Starting salary will be commensurate with experience.
