About the Role:

We're Looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Fruit & Veg Store person to become part of our team in a family owned and run specialty grocery store. In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, organizing, displaying, and maintaining the quality of fresh fruit and vegetables while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unpack, and display fresh produce in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Monitor product quality and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Maintain clean, well-organized, and visually appealing displays in line with store standards.
  • Assist customers with product selection, provide helpful advice, and deliver friendly service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Support loading/unloading of deliveries and manage inventory in storage and sales areas.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in fresh produce, grocery, or similar retail roles.
  • Strong knowledge of fruit and vegetable varieties, seasons, and handling.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move boxes or crates as needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.

Work Authorization:

  • Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 – $28.00 per hour
