Labour and Plant Coordinator

The Opportunity This critical role is the central hub for all labour and plant logistics at Trend Civil. We are looking for a highly organised scheduler to manage the day-to-day coordination of our crews and equipment, track dockets, and oversee all staff and plant compliance.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Scheduling: Creating and managing daily and weekly schedules for all labour crews and heavy equipment across multiple projects.
  • Resource Coordination: Liaising with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to forecast labour and plant requirements, and coordinating with suppliers for external hire.
  • Timesheet & Docket Management: Systematically retrieving, tracking, and verifying all dockets and timesheets to ensure accurate payroll and invoicing.
  • Compliance & Competency: Maintaining the competency matrix for all staff (tickets, licenses, inductions) and ensuring the plant and equipment register is up-to-date with servicing and inspection records.

About You:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a coordination role within a labour hire or plant/equipment hire company.
  • You have a strong understanding of the logistics involved in moving people and machinery.
  • You are highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail, especially when dealing with dockets and timesheets.
  • You are a clear communicator who can liaise effectively with site crews, managers, and suppliers.
