ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a visionary, future-focused individual to join our Cotton On team as a Senior Trend Forecaster across Womenswear Southern Hemisphere. This role is about more than just spotting what's next it's about setting the tone, inspiring the business, and shaping the creative direction that connects with millions of customers.

As Senior Forecaster, you'll work closely with the Trend Manager to lead the charge on identifying, curating, and communicating the big ideas in trend, colour, fabric, and print. You'll immerse yourself in global culture, from runways, retail and social feeds to scanning signals to anticipate where fashion is headed. Then, you'll bring it to life through compelling visual storytelling and engaging presentations that inspire confidence across design, buying, marketing, and beyond.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a confident communicator who loves presenting to a crowd, a natural collaborator who enjoys working in a big team, and a curious mind who lives and breathes pop culture and the digital world.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


• Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience in fashion, design, or trend forecasting.


• Proven experience in trend forecasting or design with a strong understanding of the Southern Hemisphere market.


• Ability to research, analyse, and translate global cultural and digital signals into clear, actionable insights.


• Naturally tapped into pop culture, social platforms, and emerging digital trends — you know where conversations start and where they're headed.


• Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills — able to inspire, influence, and rally cross-functional teams.


• Proven ability to forecast and communicate ideas across trend, colour, fabric, print, and silhouette.


• Strong creative vision with the ability to balance future-focused ideas with commercial application.


• Highly collaborative, thrives in a team environment, and enjoys building strong relationships across the business.


• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with strong visual storytelling ability to build compelling decks and narratives.
