Workfast is looking for anIndustrialSpray Painter to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team in Sunshine, VIC.

  • $40.00 hr + penalties and super
  • Casual ongoing position
  • ASAP start
  • Able to work on weekends and overtime during the busy season

  • Day shift - 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Monday to Saturday, ongoing work and Sunday overtime

What you need

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or in a similar role
  • Structural steel experience
  • Forklift License (preferred)
  • High attention to detail and quality of work
  • Ability to work with various types of spray painting equipment
  • Knowledge of industrial paints and coatings
  • Safety-conscious and adherence to safety protocols
  • Must be able to pass a medical, drug and alcohol test and police check
  • Own or have access to reliable transport

What you will be doing

  • Preparing surfaces for spray painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
  • Applying industrial coatings to metal, machinery, and other materials
  • Operating spray equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring a high-quality finish on all painted surfaces
  • Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring it's in good working order
  • Complying with all health and safety regulations
  • Keeping the work area clean and organised
