Role Purpose

As an IT Support Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office IT infrastructure. You will provide first-line support for internal IT queries, set up and maintain hardware and workstations, onboard new team members, and ensure our Finance and operational teams have the tools and support they need to deliver critical services.

Key Accountabilities:

· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

· Manage and track IT assets, ensuring equipment is functional and up to date.

· Support the setup of mobile devices and tablets used in field operations.

· Prepare and configure IT equipment for new starters.

· Set up user accounts, email, and access to internal systems and applications.

· Deliver IT inductions and provide guidance on AVADA's digital tools and platforms.

· Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and troubleshooting.

· Provide timely support for software, hardware, and connectivity issues.

· Liaise with external vendors and escalate complex issues when necessary.

· Assist with user account management across platforms such as Microsoft 365 and internal systems.

· Support updates, patches, and basic network troubleshooting.

· Monitor system performance and report anomalies.

· Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets, and user guides.

· Contribute to the development and improvement of IT policies and procedures.

· Assist in documenting standard operating procedures for IT processes.

· Manage external IT consultants

· Assist in information management

Skills and Experience Required

· Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.

· Proficiency in Windows and/or macOS environments.

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and cloud-based systems.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

· Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
