The Client Broker role supports the Schemes & Facilities Broking team and reports directly to the National Practice Lead. You will be responsible for managing client correspondence via email and phone, processing invoices, and assisting with the pre-renewal process for expiring policies. A key part of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including underwriters, insurers, the broader broking team, and the claims department.

About you


• Industry Experience: You bring prior experience in insurance, ideally in broking, claims, or underwriting. You're also comfortable with administrative tasks such as managing databases, handling correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.


• Customer Focus: You're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and finding the right solutions for clients.


• Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and professionally across all channels — phone, email, and in-person — and you're confident in client-facing situations.


• Process Driven: You have a methodical approach to your work, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures.


• Problem Solving: You're quick to identify issues and take initiative to resolve them, escalating when appropriate.


• Computer Literacy: You're proficient in using CRMs, Microsoft Office, and other business systems, and you're comfortable learning new tools.

About the role

As a Schemes & Facilities Client Broker, you will:


• Assist the Schemes & Facilities team with administrative tasks.


• Provide guidance and support to clients around insurance products.


• Process insurance quotations and invoices.


• Relay new business leads and referrals to the National Practice Lead.


• Assist with the policy renewals process, create reports, and other necessary documentation.


• Liaise and build rapport with a range of stakeholders including underwriters, insurers and the claims department.
