Excited to take the lead in a role that keeps our infrastructure assets thriving?
Do you enjoy working collaboratively and value being part of a skilled and supportive team?
We're currently recruiting a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our Subiaco Resource Recovery team, overseeing our metro wastewater treatment assets from our Shenton Park location.
This is a permanent full-time role for a leader who can guide, support, and energise their team to deliver high-quality maintenance across our complex treatment assets and schemes.
You will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting a dedicated team, managing day-to-day resourcing, and working closely with our Project Management and Technical Advisory teams.
You will be the key link between departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across the site, particularly around the planning and implementation of asset upgrades.
This includes engaging with internal stakeholders, such as the mechanical maintenance team, to gather input and align on delivery.
You will oversee the coordination and execution of civil, general, and maintenance activities, while contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of our site's infrastructure to support future growth and service delivery.
Real benefits that matter

- Access to long service leave pro rata after 3 years of service
- Generous co-contribution superannuation scheme, which offers up to 16%. This includes an 12% standard employer contribution, plus an additional 2% employer co-contribution that matches your own 2% contribution.
- Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leave

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with a range of internal stakeholders to coordinate upgrades, share insights, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Your first 6 months in this position will include building rapport with your immediate team, and the wider site workers, and establishing relationships with your key internal stakeholders.
From there, you will build on knowledge of the plant and the preventative maintenance plans and requirements.
And beyond that, put it this way when you join Water Corporation, you will be open to lots of opportunities should you wish to advance your career even further with us down the track. We advocate for progression and development and allowing our people to flourish and succeed.
