About the role

Based in Subiaco contracted to our Oil and Gas client, the Crane Maintenance Planner (Chevron ) position serves as a key expert in Planning/Scheduling on a 9 day fortnight. This role delivers front-end loading for Onshore and Offshore LNG oil and gas assets.

Your day-today responsibilities to include;

  • Planning of work orders both preventative and corrective for fixed pedestal, jib, davit, overhead gantry cranes.
  • Reviewing low frequency major crane servicing procedures.
  • Develop lift plans for fixed and mobile cranes.
  • Prepare permitry for all crane lift activities.
  • Reactive planning for breakdowns and unplanned outages.
  • Analysing defects and reviewing work order priority.
  • Estimating the job steps and resources required for task completion.
  • Identifying the requirements for external resources such as vendors or specialized trades.
  • Reviewing maintenance/job plans and appropriate work instructions for accuracy.
  • Determine and track correct materials required for maintenance activities.
  • Cataloguing of materials into ERP system.
  • Auditing and reviewing all work orders and confirmation of materials availability as per schedules.
  • Grouping of work orders to align with facility theme maps.
  • Support strategic planning and scheduling process.
  • Identifying suitable quality ITR and ITP documentation.
  • Liaise closely with Maintenance and Production Co-ordinators to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution activities are met.

About you

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Oil & Gas Industry or in a similar capacity
  • Relevant engineering qualification or crane / rigging tickets.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Understanding of estimating processes and associated principles
  • Able to interpret engineering standards, specifications and drawings
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
