The Talent Attraction Unit, situated within the Organisational Development Branch, is responsible for building effective, diverse, and sustainable talent pipelines that support SAPOL's strategic workforce priorities. The unit applies a holistic and inclusive approach to talent attraction; generating awareness, building consideration, and fostering intent through three integrated portfolios: Events and Partnerships, Recruitment Marketing, and School Pathways and Engagement. Activity driven by the unit is strategically aligned with organisational goals and delivered using innovative, contemporary methods that resonate with key demographic segments. The unit is committed to future-focused initiatives that reflect best practice in attracting top talent and engagement methods.

The Recruitment Marketing Lead is responsible for driving the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment marketing initiatives that support workforce attraction across key demographics. This role leads the creation of inclusive, targeted recruitment marketing campaigns working with DPC Advertising and Insights Hub, digital communications and collateral that reflect SAPOLs employer brand and promotes career opportunities across digital and traditional channels.

The Recruitment Marketing Lead will work closely with internal stakeholders including the SAPOL Communication and Engagement Branch, Marketing and Communications, Talent Acquisition, State Operations Service, and Metropolitan Operations Services, working collaboratively to deliver innovative and inclusive workforce attraction initiatives.

The position manages a small team and collaborates across portfolio functions to ensure alignment with outreach, education, and partnership activities. With a strong focus on talent attraction, stakeholder engagement, and performance measurement, the role plays a critical role in shaping modern, impactful recruitment marketing strategies that meet organisational priorities.

  • Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.

Salary

ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
