Victorian Gate & Fencing Group is a long-established, family-run business providing high-quality gates, fencing and automation solutions across Melbourne and Victoria. We are looking for a professional, reliable and confident Receptionist to join our team in our office full-time.


About the Role

This is a front-of-house position where you will be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Answering and directing incoming customer calls
  • Providing friendly in-person greetings and support to walk-in clients
  • Managing basic accounts, job entries and customer files
  • Assisting with sales enquiries and quoting support
  • General administration duties
  • Liaising with installers, factory staff and management
  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
  • Supporting the wider office team when required

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in reception or customer service
  • Strong phone manners and communication skills
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence in managing multiple tasks at once
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, punctual and well-presented
