General Manager

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the overall company objectives.
o Identify growth opportunities, market trends, potential risks to ensure sustained profitability and market leadership.
o Implement strategies to improve operations, drive revenue growth, and enhance overall company performance.
o Provide guidance and direction to the management team to achieve business goals.
2. Distributor Management:
o Build strong relationships with existing and prospective distributors.
o Collaborate with distributors to establish sales targets, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
o Monitor distributor performance and provide support to achieve sales targets.
o Evaluate distributor capabilities and facilitate effective communication between the company and distributors.
o Implement effective distributor development programs to foster strong partnerships and maximise distribution.
o Provide support, training, and resources to distributors to improve their performance.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide suggestions for improvement to distributors as needed.
3. Sales and Business Development:
o Oversee the development and execution of effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
o Identify new business opportunities and target markets.
o Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about competitors, market trends, and customer needs.
o Oversee and manage relationships with our distributor network, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
4. Operations Management:
o Ensure efficient day-to-day operations across all aspects of the business.
o Improve production processes, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.
o Establish and maintain product quality standards.
o Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
o Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentor-ship to the management and team
o Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, growth, and retention.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
o Recruit and on-board top talent, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
4. Financial Management:
* Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring financial targets and profitability goals are achieved.
* Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to ensure cost-effective operations.
* Collaborate with the finance department to accurately forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flow.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role, within the skylight or related industry is a plus.
* Demonstrated success in distributor management, sales strategy, and business development.
* Strong financial acumen and ability to analyse and interpret financial reports.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
* Result-oriented mindset for achieving business objectives.
* Exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and motivation and growing a great culture.
* Proficiency in using various business management software and systems.
