Due to an internal promotion, Canterbury is looking for its newest Trade & Customer Marketing Manager to bring this iconic heritage brand to life across Australia and New Zealand. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the planning and execution of trade and customer marketing activations that connect our brand with fans, athletes, and retail partners alike.

The role you'll play:

  • Support the delivery of Canterbury's annual ANZ brand and marketing plan.
  • Create and manage seasonal trade and customer activation campaigns across retail, digital, social, and media channels.
  • Develop creative briefs and oversee agency and internal team execution to ensure every campaign is on-brand and impactful.
  • Drive go-to-market presentations, toolkits, and seasonal catalogues, ensuring seamless rollout across the region.
  • Partner with our commercial teams and key accounts (Rebel, Farmers, Amazon, Iconic, Intersport) to build and activate tailored marketing plans that drive sell-through and elevate brand visibility.
  • Plan and execute trade shows, retail activations, and experiential events that bring the Canterbury story to life.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and ensure all trade activations are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Work alongside our Sports Marketing Manager to activate partnerships with professional teams and athletes.
  • Deliver high-quality campaigns and content for key sporting moments, product launches, and retail events.
  • Coordinate athlete shoots and promotional content for social and digital channels

What'd you bring to the role:

  • A marketing qualification and 5+ years' experience in a brand, trade, or customer marketing role, ideally in sportswear or apparel.
  • Proven success delivering integrated consumer and shopper campaigns across multi-channel environments.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience working with key retail accounts and agencies.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, events, and digital activations
