We're Hiring: Admin / Office All-Rounder (School Hours 9:30am–2:00pm)

Location: Pamview, Sunshine Coast, QLD

Type: Part-Time (School Hours – 9:30am–2:00pm, 4 days a week)

Due to continued growth in our business, a new Admin / Office All-Rounder role has opened and we're looking for someone who's ready to make it their own and hit the ground running.

About the Role

Joining CDC Solar and Electrical in this newly created role, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day operations, keeping things organised and running smoothly.

You'll work closely with our Director, Sales, and Install Teams to ensure seamless coordination and the best possible outcomes for both clients and staff.

This role offers the perfect balance for someone seeking meaningful work within school hours, with flexibility and variety day-to-day.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day
  • Answer customer calls and emails, and direct enquiries to the right person where needed
  • Use Xero for reconciliation, bill processing, and payment follow-ups
  • Create jobs and invoice customers using ServiceM8
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and the team throughout each job
  • Order materials and liaise with wholesalers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage Energex grid connect applications
  • Stay on top of licensing, compliance, and documentation deadlines
  • Create and improve processes and procedures to support business growth

About You
  • You have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • You're highly organised with great attention to detail
  • You can work independently and confidently manage your workload
  • You're capable of multitasking and prioritising effectively
  • You bring a positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with bookkeeping, Xero, ServiceM8, or within a trade/electrical business is an advantage but not essential. We're happy to train the right person.
