About the role

We are looking for a talented Barista/Cafe All Rounder to join our team at Simple Coffee House in Southport, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant and friendly cafe environment. As a Barista/Cafe All Rounder, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and food items, as well as assisting with other cafe duties to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, to customer specifications
  2. Preparing and serving a range of food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and baked goods
  3. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies
  5. Assisting with other cafe duties as required, such as food preparation, cash handling, and inventory management

What we're looking for

  1. Barista experience and knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
  2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  4. Familiarity with food preparation and handling, including the ability to follow recipes and health and safety guidelines
  5. A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
