The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to take on a Legal Administration Assistant role in our Sydney CBD Head Office working full time.
As a Legal Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Sydney team, assisting our Support Team Leaders. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- General office duties
- Attending court registries and government departments to file or lodge documents
- Mail collection and hand deliveries
- Photocopying, printing, scanning, paginating
- Data entry
- Assisting lawyers
- Drafting correspondence, Costs Agreements and Costs Disclosures
- Opening, closing and archiving files
- Assisting our administrative team leaders
- Scheduling and arranging meetings
- Compiling and collating documents
- Reception duties as required
The Candidate
This is a full time position that provides growth and development in a supportive and friendly team. The role would be ideal for a university graduate who wants to pursue an administration career.
To be successful in this role, the legal industry will interest and excite you. You are known for your outgoing and positive attitude, flexibility and team spirit. You will be driven, self-motivated and a fast learner. Past experience in a similar role in administration is preferred.
In addition you must also possess the following:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Pleasant and professional phone manner
- Ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable with working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel
- Well-presented and enthusiastic
