We have a rare opportunity to appoint a Group Financial Controller to work at the Company's Head Office in Silverwater, New South Wales.

About the Role

Reporting into the CFO, the Group Financial Controller must share a passion for the Food & Beverage industry. This role will be leading and managing the commercial finance, financial accounting, shared services and national administration team, ensuring effective controls on working capital and accurate reporting to support the business in achieving bottom line profitability. Operating in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, your key goal will be to:

  • Manage and lead a large finance and administration team.
  • Develop, grow and build capabilities within the team.
  • Meet all financial accounting and commercial finance responsibilities, working through others to achieve objectives.

About You:

We are looking for an outstanding candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience managing a finance team and proven leadership skills.
  • Extensive years of commercial finance experience at a senior level within FMCG demonstrating a successful track record in broad based accounting experience in the areas of financial accounting, cash flow management, tax management accounting and financial planning and analysis.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • A stable career history showing progression and personal growth.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and understand all aspects of the finance function.
  • Be able to move between the detail and the strategic requirements of the role demonstrating a willingness to get involved from the top to the bottom.
  • Highly professional, well-presented and articulate.
  • Strategic, driven and commercially astute with the ability to lead others.
  • An outstanding communicator and comfortable presenting complex financial issues to a wide non-financial audience in a clear and concise manner including the leadership team.
