Your New Company

Working in a high rise Perth CBD Office in an investment company - a Sydney style job here in WA.  With diverse interests, actively growing revenue and profit lines,  this is a an excellent time to join.  The Company will undertake an ERP upgrade into the cloud shortly, continuously investing in technology and people.  Enjoy working in a tight knit team, smaller company environment - yet working with big numbers and over 100 entities  The Company prefers staff to work from their sensational office, with the odd day from home accepted if life admin demands it - many staff have families and appreciate flexibility has its place.  The Company has many long serving staff, treats its people very well, and most are very loyal and close outside of work too. 

Your New Role

As the new senior accountant into the team, you'll be expected to run end to end financials for areas of the business - this includes the full cycle of budgeting, forecasting and periodic reporting - including churning out a detailed monthly report of over 100 pages (as part of a team) with precision and accuracy.  The team operates with a flat structure, there are no passengers, everyone here is a doer, including management.  You will most certainly be in involved in projects, from process improvement, systems upgrades, an analysis - both variance analysis (budget vs actual) and forward looking investment analysis/assessments and due diligence processes.  This is a very busy role, you will work hard, but enjoy the people around you.

Your Profile

It is expected that you know your debits and credits, have advanced excel skills (including financial analysis and financial modelling), are a people person, and are a passionate accountant.  A CA/CPA or equivalent is essential for consideration and ideally you have been trained by a public accounting firm and have some corporate experience aligned to this opportunity.  A minimum of 5 years post bachelor's experience is expected, 7-10 years is more likely to fit the brief.  Your work history tells a story of high performance, excellent reviews, promotions and stability/loyalty.  Many of the company's staff have 10+ years with the company - and you could easily do 10 years with this Company too.  Your communication skills are a key strength - in person, over email and formal report writing, and when presenting information to groups or executives.  

**Work rights in Australia through current Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential for shortlisting.  Sponsorship will not be considered on this occasion.
