Consilium Corporate is an advisory firm located in the Perth CBD providing services and expertise in Accounting, Corporate Management, Financial Reporting, Non-Executive Directorships, Virtual & Contract CFO, Company Secretarial, Corporate Governance, ASX Listing and IPO services.

We work very closely with our clients, providing them with essential corporate services and advice to ensure they operate as efficiently as possible, whilst meeting their regulatory compliance obligations.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client management and liaison;
  • ASX listed reporting functions;
  • ASX listed Corporate Governance duties;
  • Daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting, preparation of activity statements, financial statements and reports;
  • Bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable functions, where required;
  • General advisory and administrative work; and
  • Any other tasks as required to support other members of the team.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years' accounting or audit background with high level statutory reporting and financial accounting skills;
  • ASX listed company experience;
  • Minimum 2+ years of ASX listed company experience is required;
  • Mineral exploration company experience;
  • Minimum 2+ years of mineral exploration company experience is required;
  • Sound understanding of corporate accounting and business principles;
  • Ability to problem solve;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Proficient level of verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong MS Excel skills;
  • CA/CPA qualified;
  • CA/CPA qualification must be held at time of application;
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously; and
  • Experience in MYOB, Xero, Reckon and other software products will be an advantage.
