About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the development, initiation, co-ordination and administration of safety and quality systems and strategies for MNMH-TPCH in accordance with MNMH objectives. The position is responsible for promoting and enabling a culture of service improvement using the frameworks provided by the National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards, the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP)
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem solving skills and expert clinical judgement in relation to safety and quality activities and priorities.
- May work across professional and organisational boundaries to influence health service and/or professional outcomes in relation to area of expertise.
- Collaborate within the MNMH Service Development Coordinator network to deliver audit interpretation and action plans.
- Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs in relation to service development within the TPCH.
