About the Role

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals living with a disability, helping them achieve their goals and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Support clients with daily living tasks including meal preparation, household chores, and transport
  • Encourage and assist clients to engage in social and community activities
  • Implement individual support plans and follow client care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of support
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar (or working towards it)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (if applicable)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (if required)
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, caring attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or sleepover shifts (if applicable)

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
