Saraji Mine is an open pit coal mine located near Dysart on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people. Saraji is also BHP's biggest metallurgical coal mine in Queensland's Bowen Basin. Learn more about Saraji Mine HERE

About The Role
Saraji Mine are seeking an experienced and motivated Work Management Coordinator, working a Monday- Friday on site and reporting into the Maintenance Superintendent you will;

  • Join a supportive and inclusive maintenance team where collaboration and growth are at the heart of what we do.
  • Coordinate maintenance work across Saraji Mine to help deliver reliable, safe and efficient operations every day.
  • Partner closely with Supervisors, Planners and Engineering teams to plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities that keep our equipment performing at its best.
  • Contribute your ideas to continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, enhance team communication and reduce downtime.
  • Enjoy working in an environment that values flexibility, teamwork and wellbeing, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge and leadership capability.

About You
You are someone who thrives in a supportive team and brings motivation and experience within the coal mining industry;

  • You're a strong organiser who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to busy environments.
  • You thrive on teamwork and take pride in helping others succeed.
  • Experienced in maintenance coordination, scheduling or planning—ideally within mining, heavy industry or a similar fast-paced setting.
  • Confident using SAP or other maintenance systems, with a good understanding of how work management processes come together to deliver results.
  • You care deeply about safety, inclusion and creating a workplace where everyone can bring their best selves.
  • You're curious, proactive and open to learning — someone who sees challenges as opportunities to make things better.
