  • Provider & Financial Management: Approve invoices, maintain remittance records, and monitor insurer reimbursements.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Interpret medical certificates and translate restrictions into practical SDPs.
  • Strategic Case Management: Develop proactive strategies, monitor psychosocial risks, and ensure timely SDPs.
  • Advisory & Influence: Advise leadership on injury management issues and influence host employers to provide modified duties.
  • System & Data Capability: Maintain centralised records and produce dashboards tracking claims, LTIs, and cost exposures.

Requirements

  • Return to Work Coordinator certification or equivalent experience.
  • Allied health or rehabilitation qualifications highly regarded.
  • Three (3) + years' experience across multi-jurisdictional workers' compensation, rehabilitation consultancy, or employer-based injury management.
  • Empathetic yet assertive, proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with medical providers, insurers, host employers, and internal teams.

Why Join Us

  • Flexible work options: full-time or part-time (24 hours/week over three/four days) with a potential job share arrangement with another Return to Work Coordinator.
  • Make a tangible impact on worker wellbeing, injury outcomes, and organisational compliance.
