Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Sales professional to join our team in Kings Park, NSW, responsible for providing applications technical support. This role plays a key part in supporting both the sales and service teams, with a strong focus on customer communication, product support, and ensuring smooth order processing across departments.

This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Job activities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to customer enquiries and coordinating internal sales support
  • Assisting with product pricing, stock availability, and lead times to support quoting and order fulfilment
  • Providing applications technical support to customers, including product selection guidance
  • Processing and tracking customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Preparing and managing supporting sales documentation such as invoices, delivery dockets, and service reports
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order flow and customer updates
  • Maintaining accurate sales and invoice records, and assisting with general reporting requirements
  • Supporting internal sales processes such as receipting, approvals, and data entry
  • Managing daily administrative tasks related to sales operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an internal sales role, preferably within a technical or engineering environment
  • Strong customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise workload.
