We're Hiring: Electrical Engineer with Project Manager Experience – Overseas Projects

Are you an Electrical Engineer with strong project management experience? This role involves leading the design, installation, and delivery of electrical infrastructure systems on large-scale overseas energy and infrastructure projects. Join Pacific Energy Group and take on challenging international assignments where your leadership makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects
  • Oversee design, installation, testing and commissioning of systems
  • Recruit, mentor and supervise project teams across site operations
  • Manage procurement, supplier evaluations and material logistics
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, safety and regulations
  • Conduct site visits, monitor contractors and resolve technical issues
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, consultants and authorities
  • Drive continuous improvement and support handover to operations teams

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Chartered/Professional Engineer preferred)
  • 6–10+ years' project-based electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years on overseas/remote projects
  • Knowledge of power generation, distribution and control systems (hydropower desirable)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP or similar design/modelling software
  • Strong leadership, planning, procurement and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in overseas project environments

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in overseas project environments, particularly those familiar with heavy infrastructure and remote site conditions, are encouraged to apply.
