About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer at DCI Data Centers, you'll be the subject matter expert across the full lifecycle, from design through operations, helping us deliver mission‑critical, energy‑efficient, and secure facilities at pace. You will manage the multi‑discipline electrical design process, provide technical leadership across development projects and upgrades, and collaborate closely with Technology, Development, and Operations to turn ideas into outcomes, fast.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development:
    Designing developing and maintaining electrical systems and components for data centres or industrial applications, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Project Oversight:
    Managing and overseeing electrical engineering functions across the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, installation, and maintenance, while ensuring adherence to specifications and codes.
  • Technical Review and Problem-Solving:
    Conducting detailed reviews, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify risks, optimise performance, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaboration and Compliance:
    Working closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to deliver energy-efficient solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years in electrical design and engineering in data centre environments.
  • Proficiency in CAD, strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
