As an Ads Specialist at Cali Social, your role is to bring campaign strategies to life. You'll be responsible for building, managing, and optimising campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, turning the Account Manager's strategic direction into high-performing executions.
You'll be hands-on in the platforms, deeply involved in campaign delivery, pacing, testing, and performance optimisation. While you may occasionally join client conversations to provide technical or performance insight, your focus is on delivery and results, not client management.
This role suits someone who loves the craft of paid media, has strong technical capability across multiple channels, and takes pride in delivering consistent, data-led performance outcomes.
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesCampaign Execution & Optimisation
- Build, launch, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads.
- Implement tracking and attribution correctly (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, etc.) to ensure clean data and accurate reporting.
- Manage budgets and pacing across multiple platforms, ensuring spend aligns with monthly plans.
- Continuously test and optimise ad creative, targeting, bidding, and audience structures to improve performance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of campaign setups and optimisation decisions within ClickUp.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the Account Manager to understand campaign goals, strategy, and creative direction.
- Translate briefs into executable media plans, providing input on opportunities or potential improvements.
- Collaborate with external contractors where needed to support delivery, ensuring quality and consistency of work.
- Prepare and share campaign reports and insights with the Account Manager, highlighting key wins, challenges, and next steps.
Performance & Innovation
- Stay current with platform changes, algorithm updates, and new ad features.
- Identify opportunities to improve ROI or efficiency through automation, audience strategies, or creative iteration.
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows, reporting, and delivery quality across the team.
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in paid media campaign management (Google Ads and Meta Ads required; TikTok and Pinterest a bonus).
- Demonstrated experience building and optimising campaigns from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data to drive decision-making.
- High attention to detail and process, ensuring every campaign meets internal QA standards.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively using tools such as ClickUp, Google Drive, and Slack.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive in communicating with internal teams.
Bonus: experience briefing or managing external delivery support.
Please note this is a part-time role of 20 hours per week to be worked over 4 or 5 days. Salary is Pro Rata.
