The Paid Media Manager at the Brisbane head office will be focused on developing and executing paid media strategies for the ANZ region. Reporting to the Global Performance Marketing Leader in London and collaborating within the digital hub, this role involves managing a Paid Media Specialist to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and achieve growth across digital platforms. A performance-focused team with a winning mentality supports this position, prioritising learning, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. The role is part of an exciting project to transition corporate brands' paid media efforts in-house, aimed at maintaining current performance while driving sustainable growth.
Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of paid media platforms, analytics tools, conversion tracking setups, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads Editor, data feeds, GA4 and SA360. Strong technical expertise in paid media and programmatic advertising is essential for delivering efficient, high-impact campaigns. The role demands experience in B2B lead generation, with a proven track record of achieving results and ROI. The AU market is significant, and the role can be high-pressure, requiring confidence and collaboration with key stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to support building new processes from scratch, shaping the paid media function to fit future business needs.
Who you are:
- Over 5 years of experience in performance marketing or similar roles
- Extensive hands-on experience (minimum 5 years) in managing paid media campaigns across various digital advertising channels, including paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and video
- Proven track record in managing large budgets and achieving measurable results in ROI and key performance indicators
- Skilled in team management and mentoring, promoting a collaborative and growth-focused environment
- Effective in working within cross-functional teams to develop and execute cohesive marketing strategies
- Proficient in Google Ads, META Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, SA360, DV360, and other relevant digital advertising tools
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in using Google Analytics and Excel to interpret data and optimise strategies
- Experienced in B2B marketing with a focus on lead generation and nurturing leads through the marketing funnel
What you'll be doing:
Paid Media Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Create tailored paid media plans for the ANZ market aligned with regional brand objectives
- Collaborate with brand teams to ensure strategies support overall brand initiatives
- Work with the Global Performance Marketing Leader to address regional and global objectives
- Use Google, META Ads, programmatic, and LinkedIn Ads and other paid media platforms to reach target audiences
Campaign Management and Optimisation:
- Oversee and monitor paid media campaigns to meet KPIs
- Continuously analyse and adjust campaigns for better ROI based on performance insights
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor the Paid Media Specialist
- Delegate tasks effectively for successful campaign execution and performance
Budget Management:
- Efficiently allocate and manage the paid media budget to maximise ROI
- Regularly report budget utilisation and campaign performance to local and global teams
Collaboration with Local Teams:
- Integrate paid media strategies with other digital marketing efforts
- Share insights and collaborate on best practices for enhanced digital performance
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the ANZ region
- Apply insights to adjust strategies for competitive advantage
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance with actionable insights
- Communicate findings to ANZ stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making
