The Railway Hotel Bar & Steakhouse is a local favourite, renowned for premium steaks, hearty modern-Australian classics, and warm hospitality. Our venue is a key part of Gosford's thriving dining scene, and we take pride in delivering quality food and service every time.

The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our back-of-house team. You'll be working with quality ingredients and a supportive team to deliver consistently excellent meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in line with our menu and specials
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing wastage
  • Support the Head Chef with menu development and kitchen leadership where required
  • Work collaboratively with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
About You:
  • Trade qualified with minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen (pub or steakhouse experience a plus)
  • A passion for food, strong attention to detail, and pride in presentation
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
