We're looking for a Project Manager to join our City Assets team on a contract basis. You'll be responsible for managing the delivery of capital works projects from initiation to handover.

What You'll Do

  • Developing and delivering a range of projects by using your knowledge of the Local Government Building and Construction Industry.
  • Liaising with governing authorities and/or utility providers.
  • Coordinating design , managing contractors , providing technical direction , and ensuring projects are delivered within pre-determined limits of time, cost and quality.
  • Collaborating and managing client and project needs using effective interpersonal and communication skills

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a similar field. You must also have a Class C driver's license and WHS construction induction certification.
  • Experience: Significant experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects , including project finances, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. You should also have strong knowledge of construction legislation and standards and be skilled in using software like Office 365.

Previous experience in civil, landscape, building, and public domain works, especially in a local government setting, is a bonus.
