We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Engineer – E&I to join us in our Engineering and Planning team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Contract.
Reporting to the Team Lead Project Delivery QLD, you will play a vital role in offering technical support, under general supervision, for the design and engineering services of mechanical and piping engineering projects, including fixed and mobile plants, piping systems, pumps, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support across all phases of the project lifecycle.
 - Ensure designs align with operational requirements, safety standards, and APA engineering principles.
 - Work closely with project teams to understand needs and deliver practical technical solutions.
 - Review, assess, and approve project designs and design changes.
 - Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
 - Prepare and deliver progress updates and technical reports to senior stakeholders.
 
About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
 - Solid experience with control systems (e.g., Allen Bradley).
 - Strong grounding in engineering principles with an understanding of project management practices.
 - Proven problem-solving ability to address complex technical challenges.
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
 - Commitment to delivering designs that meet both operational requirements and APA's engineering standards.
