Position Available: Casual Section Waiter/Waitress

Le Bouchon, a French cuisine restaurant on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Balnarring, is seeking highly skilled and personable Section Waiters/Waitresses to join our team.

Job Description:

We are a busy, well-oiled machine with a loyal following of regular guests. Over the past decade, Le Bouchon has built an excellent reputation for providing an authentically French experience. Our ideal candidate will have a welcoming personality, be knowledgeable about French cuisine, and most importantly, be able to connect with our guests and engage with them to create a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in your assigned section.
  • Take orders and serve food and drinks to guests in your assigned section.
  • Make recommendations and answer questions about the menu.
  • Connect with guests and engage them in conversation to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in your section.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a waiter in a quality restaurant.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to connect with guests and be engaging.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of French cuisine is a plus.
  • Speaking French is a plus but not a necessity.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
