About The Role
As Head of Workplace Strategy & Experience , you'll lead the transformation of how Origin employees and visitors interact with and experience the workplace. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering a workplace experience strategy that is safe, inclusive and inspiring—enabling collaboration, wellbeing and a high-performance culture across our four major office locations.You'll bring a forward-thinking and data-led approach to the modern workplace, embedding design thinking, space analytics, and continuous feedback to deliver high-performing environments aligned to Origin's culture and future ways of working.

Key
Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Origin's Workplace Strategy, aligning physical environments with business needs, safety outcomes, and the employee experience.
  • Lead a national team delivering workplace planning, service design, and operational delivery across our office locations.
  • Build and mature capability in workplace analytics to drive data-led insights into utilisation, space optimisation and performance.
  • Champion inclusive, accessible and psychologically safe design principles—supporting diverse and high-performing teams.
  • Partner across HSE, Property, Technology, and People & Culture to ensure workplaces are safe, secure, high-performing and ready for the future.
  • Drive service excellence and operational improvement through standardisation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About You
You're a strategic and people-centred leader who thrives at the intersection of experience, operations and design. You bring deep expertise in workplace strategy and office operations, and are confident leading transformation at both strategic and delivery levels.You will thrive in this role if you can:

  • Design and execute a forward‑looking workplace strategy that anticipates future workforce needs — shaping how Origin's offices enable collaboration, performance, inclusion and wellbeing.
  • Lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams to deliver consistently excellent workplace experiences.
  • Translate data and insight into forward-looking workplace strategies and decisions.
  • Influence and collaborate with senior leaders across business functions.
  • Balance strategic thinking with operational execution and service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, service, safety and continuous improvement.

You'll also have:

  • Proven experience in workplace strategy, employee experience or corporate real estate, including senior leadership roles.
  • A track record of leading large, multi-site portfolios and distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated success using analytics and design principles to improve performance, safety and employee engagement.
