Role Overview

As a Commercial Roller Door Installer & Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial roller doors, shutters and their automation systems. This role requires a hands-on professional who can deliver precise workmanship, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide excellent service to our customers, as well as some sales skills to talk to client over the phone and face to face.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Repairs commercial roller doors, shutters, and their automation systems to company standards.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure doors and systems remain safe, reliable, and compliant.
  • Respond to service call-outs and breakdowns, providing efficient and effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a tidy, professional work environment.
  • Communicate with clients on-site, providing clear updates and demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate a medium to high level of sales skills for providing quotes.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete jobs to schedule.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in roller door installation and servicing (commercial and/or industrial).
  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of automation systems, motors, and control panels.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • White Card and Working at Heights certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
