THE COMPANY

Miepol Pty Ltd is a prominent service provider in the Civil/Construction Industry. Experienced in Civil Construction Infrastructure, Civil Design, Traffic Management and Labour Hire Services.

THE ROLE

Leadership and On-site Management:

Based in Sunshine, Vic, and reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of scheduled daily works

  • Hands on leader, looking after your multiple crews and leading hands to ensure works are delivered and completed on time
  • Looking after a diverse range of projects (Drainage, Streetscapes, Traffic infrastructure, Concreting)
  • Efficiently manage and coordinate on-site requirements, deliveries and resource requirements.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Show leadership for leading hands for on-site activities, collaborating with the team to effectively manage day-to-day operations and cultivate a safety culture.
  • Monitor site productivity, report to the Project Manager, and assist in recognizing variations and potential delays, OHS onsite management, Inductions and Pre-Starts,

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Non-Destructive Digging (NDD), service locating, Hydo Excavations background
  • Strong civil background (NDD, line marking & wire rope etc)
  • Take on a 'hands-on role managing the actual internal NDD works & any sub-contractors'

  • You must have previous proven experience and understand the construction process in the civil/construction sector in a similar role

  • You must have the ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Utilize construction experience to enhance methods, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION

  • You must be reliable, confident, good with computers, a problem solver and have strong communication skills to effectively manage the teams in this role.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
