About the role

EXP. restaurant is seeking a full-time waiter, sommelier or assistant manager to join our team at our establishment in Pokolbin, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to contribute to the success of our acclaimed restaurant and help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of all guests
  • Assisting with the curation and presentation of our wine and beverage offerings
  • Effectively communicating menu items, food and wine pairings, and daily specials
  • Handling cash, processing payments, and reconciling transactions
  • Maintaining a clean and organised dining area
  • Contributing to inventory management, stock control, and other operational tasks
  • Supporting the assistant manager or sommelier in their duties as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for food and wine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
