Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking proactive and determined Development Professionals who aren't afraid to take ownership and drive projects forward. If you are a candidate who thrives on challenge, stands by your well-reasoned views, and is relentless in your pursuit of on-time, on-budget delivery, we want to hear from you.
This role is for a self-starter who is budget-conscious to their core and possesses an innate sense of urgency. You see challenges as opportunities and are motivated by the responsibility of steering a project from a blueprint to a reality.
What You'll Do:
In this hands-on role, you will be at the forefront of project delivery, taking significant responsibility for the success of our developments.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Take ownership of distinct elements—and eventually entire projects—from concept and planning through to design, delivery, and handover.
- Drive Budget & Programme: Take charge of the project programme, proactively tracking progress and identifying critical paths. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, monitoring, and rigorous reporting on project budgets, ensuring strict financial discipline every step of the way.
- Hands-On Coordination: Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects, coordinating consultants, contractors, and authorities. This includes processing project payments and managing project documentation.
- Stakeholder Influence: Confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders, using your strong communication skills to align teams, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and regular updates on project status, financial performance, and risk, ensuring total transparency for senior management.
Skills and Experience:
Experience:
- 3 - 10 years of demonstrated experience in residential property development.
- Proven track record in project, planning, cost, and risk management.
- Solid experience in managing project budgets, with a keen eye for cost control and financial analysis.
Skills & Mindset:
- Results-Driven & Accountable: A self-motivated professional who takes full responsibility for their work and its outcomes.
- Assertive & Decisive: The ability to stand by your informed views, negotiate effectively, and make tough decisions when required.
- Exceptionally Time-Conscious: An innate sense of urgency and superb time-management skills to drive tasks to completion on schedule, every time.
- Keen Attention to Detail: A commitment to delivering high-quality developments, with no detail overlooked.
- Proactive Problem-Solver: A mindset that anticipates challenges and actively seeks out solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly regarded.
Why You'll Love Working with Us
- Impact and Autonomy: This is not a role where you will just follow instructions. We provide the autonomy for you to take real ownership, make your mark on iconic projects, and see your ideas come to life.
- A Culture of Excellence: Join a focused, innovative team committed to architectural quality and market leadership. Your drive for excellence will be valued and rewarded.
- Career-Defining Projects: Work on a diverse portfolio of medium and high-density projects that are setting new standards in the Australian real estate market.
- Professional Growth: As part of our growing team, you will have a clear path for career advancement and professional development.
If you are ready to take on responsibility, fearlessly drive projects, and build your career with a leading developer, apply now to join Manors Gate Group.
