What We're Looking For

You're a calm, confident professional who's been around the traps. Specifically, you'll need:

• 5+ years experience in remedial diagnostics with Class 2 buildings
• Consulting experience — including direct client-facing roles
• Strong reporting and writing skills (you'll be asked for a sample later)
• The ability to manage multiple consultancies at once — not just one matter per year
• A problem solving mindset
• Emotional intelligence and professionalism — you'll deal with clients daily
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC) relevant in building structures.
• Tertiary qualifications in BE (Civil or Structural)
• Experience in diagnostic consulting work, building defects identification and litigation compliant defect reporting, general building condition assessment and reporting, drafting scopes of works and specifications suitable for tendering, tender management and contract administration of remediation projects.
